Down The Aisle Bridal FAQ

Do you accept returns?

Due to the unique "one time use" nature of bridal and formal attire, we cannot accept returns. We are able to keep our prices extremely low by following this policy.

Your hair jewelry undergoes strict quality control before leaving our facility. If, for some reason, your piece arrives to you damaged, DTA Bridal will exchange the damaged piece for another of the exact same model number. There are no exceptions to this policy. You MUST contact DTA within 24 hours of receiving the damaged goods for us to consider an exchange. Thank you in advance for understanding.

What will my shipping charge be?

DTA Bridal ships flat rate, any piece on the site, for $8. This includes shipping insurance for your piece, and expedited delivery. This rate also is for anywhere in the United States – no matter where you live. We don't charge by zones, or extra if your piece will be shipped from more than a certain number of miles like some sites.

Do you ship outside of the United States?

Yes! In general, most orders can be shipped internationally ( to Canada, England, Ireland, Scotland, or Wales ) for an extra $15.00 charge. Any other country may be higher. Email sales -at- dtabridal with the exact shipping address for more information. I'd be happy to quote you a shipping charge.

What if I can't decide between two pieces? Can I return one?

Since our prices are so very competitive, you may consider buying both. On average, you will still be spending less for 2 items from us than you would for one at your local bridal store.

How long will it take to receive my order?

Most orders ship within 1 week from the factory. Depending on the "ship to" address, you should see your order within 2 weeks of the date of your order. On rare occasions, we could notify you that your piece is on back order. In those rare instances, we will keep you informed at all times as to the status of your order. Most back orders are fulfilled within a few weeks...but we ask that you place your order at least a few months before your wedding or event in order to make sure you get your hair jewelry with plenty of time.

My veil has creases in it! What should I do?

Removing the creases is easily done by hanging your veil in a bathroom and running a hot shower for a few minutes. The steam created should release the wrinkles. You may need to run the shower for a while in order to release the wrinkles. Or, carefully use a travel steam iron several inches away from the veil to steam it while gently but firmly holding the veil taut from the bottom edge as it cools.

DO NOT IRON YOUR VEIL. Veil material is made of softened, finely spun plastic mesh. Ironing the veil material will melt it.

If your hair jewelry has metal on it - once received, keep the piece wrapped in the bag it comes in to prevent tarnish until your wedding. Keep you veil and hair jewelry out of reach of children. Especially little girls. Over the years I have received a few anguished phone calls from brides whose little sisters have tried on veils and have ruined them. Don't let this happen to you. Keep it out of reach of little hands. Little girls won't try on your dress, but they certainly will try on the veil.
